The show on Women in Sports will be streamed on May 14, at 3pm (BST) from Elephant Studios in London South Bank University.

We will anchor the show from London, and we will have co-hosts in Tel Aviv, West of Scotland and the Netherlands.

The show will be 30 minutes in length and will go out live.

We need at least 8 VTs of 2 mins - you might want to consider impact of technology, new sports, changing attitudes, men and women competing together, pay gap, career progression ... we would also welcome a studio discussion or a studio interview (as a pre-record not necessarily live)

Please can you indicate below by replying to this post if you want to contribute a package?

Story packages so far (we will decide on the running order when we have everything):

LSBU
1. motocross - men and women competing against each other
2. esports - mixed gender teams

The Steve Tisch School of Film and Television Tel Aviv University
1. women sports journalists.
2. Why the leading soccer clubs in Israel don't have a women team?
3. Why some women feminists are against women participating in competitive sports saying this will make gender inequality only worse.

California State University, Fresno
1. Break the Barriers
2. Bodybuilder
3. Women in the sports industry

Hello LJ and everyone, my students in Tel Aviv University will join on the show. For some reason I cannot register to the group you created. I already asked Marion for help on the matter. Meanwhile, here are the stories we are researching for the show: 1. women sports journalists. 2. Why the leading soccer clubs in Israel don't have a women team? 3. Why some women feminists are against women participating in competitive sports saying this will make gender inequality only worse. We will be happy to co-host the show from our studio on May 7th. that's about it so far, All the best Eran Shapira The Steve Tisch School of Film and Television Tel Aviv University

Hello everyone! The students from NHTV Breda will be sharing what stories they are currently working on for this show on May 7th. Looking forward to working with you! Thanks LJ for setting this site up for us to share stories, ideas, updates and giving our students the opportunity to chat with like-minded students internationally.

Hello Laura, We also want to participate in this one. To begin with I had a trouble connecting on this portal and I was working more on the other story. Will you please get back to me. Our students at AISFM, Hyderabad have already shot the women on sports story. They are in post production. But somehow we could not continue the communication. Let me know can we still be part of it?

Thanks Nitin - I have emailed you the link to the dropbox folder for you to upload your story. Theo and Alice will let you know how your students can get involved on the day ... we are thinking that maybe some students who are not anchoring the show might like to do a live blog as the show goes out ...? Is this something you'd be interested in?

Hi LJ, we are unable to add our stories to the portal. We tried using this link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/k3aoueli0223y90/AADl0Mh6qACxSeOlNm_s5Y2Ma?dl=0

Hi LJ, the students from Tel Aviv University will most likely have 2 stories: the first is female journalists as mentioned before, and the second one will be about a female major-league football team. One question, is there an option to make each item longer than 2 minutes? We have quite a lot of material especially on that first story... Stav
